Cool and coveted, Gucci’s Ace sneakers have given a fresh update as part of its Pre-Fall 2017 collection. New designs? Not really. More colour combinations? Well, not exactly. Customisable with detachable patches? Yes, yes, yes. Updated with laminated snakeskin heel tabs, these New Acesneakers now sport snap buttons as well, which means you can snap on (or take off) the designated embroidered patches that each pair comes with. And if you get tired of the patches you’ve already got? No worries, more patches are available for purchase separately, so you can pretty much mix them up any which way you like.

Available in variations for both the boys and the girls, ladies will have 6 styles that they can buy off-the-rack that come featured with patches ranging from animals and words to the all-important pineapple (because #huatah) and even a fully embellished crystal bow that’s not for the faint-hearted. All standouts in their own right, you can customise these sneakers further by interchanging them with even more patches that include motifs like bees, bows, flowers and snowflakes, just to name a few.

Boys will get to choose from 5 styles, from Angry Cat (who doesn’t love Angry Cat), panthers, even a dragon paired with the UFO. Customise them further with patches that include a beaded heart that’s pierced with a sword, more animals, even a pearl-adorned numeric 25.

And because Gucci’s big on packaging, each pair of sneakers will come in a specially designed box with a black satin dust bag and a paper bag that’s adorned with a rainbow. Priced at SGD990 to SGD1430 a pair for the ladies (while shoes for the boys range from SGD990 to SGD1090), extra patches will set you back by SGD330 to SGD490 (depending on the design) which is pretty reasonable considering the fact that just by changing the patches you get a whole new pair of shoes altogether. Now available at Gucci boutiques in Singapore, excuse me while I head down to get my pair before everything is sold out.

Celebs Attempt to Avoid Your Prying Gaze with Bags from Dior, Gucci and Chanel

Categories:Other Brands

We all have our mood swings, but what does one do when one is in a mood, famous, at the airport and fully clad in fire engine red all Gucci everything? Besides bemoan their (admittedly cushy) fate? Our usual gang of under-25 celebs were feeling a bit bashful this week, but their more established peers were happy to flash us a smile--and a little handbag.

Gucci Garden Limited Edition Capsule Collection

Categories:Other Brands

Gucci’s back with another limited edition capsule collection that will only be sold exclusively online viaGucci.com.

Simply known as the Gucci Garden collection (just take one quick look at the print and you’ll figure it out), the collection will only be available in countries where Gucci offers e-commerce, and in our part of the world that means Australia, Japan and Korea. Still, if you want something bad enough, I’m sure you’ll find a way, even if it means sucking up to an overseas colleague you’d rather not owe any favours to. But for the sake of Gucci, it’s worth it, right?

Besides the Dionysus bag that will come in 3 sizes, there’s also a zip-around wallet, along with the shoes, one a sneaker, the other a pair of mules that come adorned with another Gucci signature, the Horsebit buckle. There will also be a selection of RTW, from a reversible zip-up bomber jacket in silk twill to skirts that come pleated in silk crêpe de chine. There are shorts, there are dresses, there’s even a cardigan, all essential wardrobe staples that will help you become the Alessandro Michele’s quintessential Gucci girl of today.

For more information on what’s available and their prices, do check out Gucci.but remember to act fast because it will probably all sell out pretty fast again.

This Blue Gucci Dionysus GG Blooms Bag is Making Me Feel the Opposite of Blue

Categories:Other Brands

Right off the bat you know I love Gucci. I loved the bags before Alessandro took over including theBamboo, Jackie Soft, and Lady Web and I’ve been on the edge of my seat with the new direction especially fond of the Dionysus. I wasn’t sure until I laid my hands on a Dionysus just how amazing it really was. In pictures the bag is pretty and different but when you actually get to try it out, you may find yourself just as in love as I am.

Many more Gucci bags have come onto the scene and there are plenty that I love, but I haven’t purchased a Dionysus yet and I can’t seem to stop checking them out when I spot one. This version, the Gucci Dionysus GG Blooms Bag in blue, stopped me in my tracks and had me doing many double takes. While I haven’t seen this exact version in person, I am really intrigued. While many of these bags do feature the GG supreme canvas print, this bag stands out because the GG’s are in a deep blue. Typically you’ll find them in classic Gucci brown which coincides with the tan canvas, but the blue is something different.

I ended up loving the Blooms Print Dionysus when we first photographed it, it really stood out in person. The cool thing is there’s blue suede trim peeking out, hand-painted edges, and the blooms print on the front and back of the bag. Antiqued silver hardware doesn’t distract and the chain strap can easily be doubled or worn longer, whichever you choose. On the inside you’ll find suede lining and a center zip compartment, which allows for easy internal separation. Overall dimensions are 8″H x 12″W x 4″D and simply put this bag is just lovely. I’ve come back to the Dionysus so many times that I think I’m trying to tell myself something: pick one already and buy it.

Fashion Girls Everywhere Will Want a Piece of Gucci's New Graffiti Collab

Categories:Other Brands

Gucci's Alessandro Michele didn't just roll out a colorful collection we can picture on the red carpet. For Fall '16, he collaborated with street artist GucciGhost, aka Trouble Andrew, appealing to the playful customer who's more bold than classic.

Andrew began putting his own spin on the iconic GG logo after cutting two holes in a thrifted Gucci sheet on Halloween and telling everyone he was the "Gucci Ghost." Since then, he's covered walls, trash cans, and his own Instagram feed with his signature handwritten print. And when Michele, who was nothing but flattered by the graffiti, invited Andrew to decorate pieces for his new line, Gucci Ghost showed up to the studio like it was NBD, crafting what are sure to be must-have pieces on every style star's wish list.

Read on to get a first look at the Gucci Ghost designs while they're hot off the runway, from a patterned pleated midi skirt and an edgy statement coat to a leather tote and square satchel.
